Budding Entrepreneurs (June 21-24, 4-day week)
If you love Shark Tank, this empowering program is for you! Join other intrepid campers and develop a business plan for your own business idea. You will learn to take risks and persevere, while making business-like decisions about strategy, marketing and finance. Participants build confidence “learning by doing” and make their pitch presentations on the last day as a showcase event!
Finance Camp (June 27-July 1)
Learn how to manage your money in this camp promoting essential life skills! Develop a budget from scratch, set your financial goals, shop for a credit card, calculate the monthly cost of your dream car, apply for a mortgage, learn about FICO scores, and more. Campers understand the dangers of piling up debt and calculate a person’s net worth based on various examples. A great step towards future financial independence! The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
Junior CEO’s (July 5-8,4-day week)
How cool would it be for you to be the boss of Apple or Amazon for a day? In this leadership program, you can! Students act as CEO’s for leading companies and work in groups to make strategic recommendations to address real business issues. Case studies include popular companies (such as Apple, Amazon and Coke) and examine the role of female CEO’s. Students enhance their problem-solving skills, develop business savvy and cultivate a strategic mindset as future leaders. The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
My First Food Truck (July 11-15)
Campers develop entrepreneurial skills through the design of a business plan for a food truck business. They select a food theme, identify their business location, design appealing menus and make business decisions covering strategy, marketing, operations and finance. Activities include drafting mission statements, setting prices, estimating expenses and learning key financial metrics. This program offers a fun way to develop business savvy! The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
Please note this program will not involve actual food/drink.
Junior MBA’s (July 18-22)
This camp is like a mini-MBA for kids in a week! Praised in leading business publications as pioneering, this unique experience includes simulations and hands-on activities to empower campers with essential 21st century skills. Campers develop a mindset to make sound financial decisions and gain business savvy with different daily themes, such as personal finance, investments, entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
Bulls & Bears (July 25-29)
Learn investing fundamentals and how you can start investing at a young age and make your money grow! Pick your own $10,000 stock portfolio with a cool stock-trading simulation tool using real-time market data. This hands-on experience empowers campers with the tools and mindset to face future investment decisions with confidence and “buy low, sell high”! The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
Sports Management (August 1-5)
For the sports lover, future team General Manager, sports team owner or ESPN analyst, this unique program helps students view the world of sports from a business perspective. Campers participate in fun mock drafts for various sports and analyze different sports topics, including the value of sports teams, player compensation, college sports, endorsements, Nike vs Under Armour competition, sports agents, the Super Bowl, e-sports and more! The camp day includes activity breaks and playtime outside.
