Summer@Potomac and The Potomac School Athletics are pleased to offer these special Elite Camps for athletes looking to step up their game. All programs take place after the regular camp day has ended. Bus service is not available for these programs. All programs run for four days of the listed week below. Running is the foundation of excellence in almost every sport. It is also the most generally dreaded aspect of training for athletes that are not runners! This camp is ideal for athletes and hopeful athletes to learn how to develop proper running form and gait as well as how to pace their energy. Participants will also learn how to develop simple training plans, create and decorate a training log, and develop cardiovascular endurance through many forms of creative movement activities.
Each camper should bring
Fitness attire, proper running shoes, a water bottle, a towel and/or yoga mat for stretching, and a hand towel for hot days!
