INSPIRE Girls Soccer Camp for grades K-8 is coached by The Potomac School’s assistant varsity soccer coach, Gayle Wilson. From 2007 – 2018, Gayle directed this popular all-girls camp at Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Daily schedule includes skill development activities , futsal play, small-sided games, team building activities, leadership education and optional outdoor pool time. In addition, campers in grades 6-8 will participate in performance enhancement and injury prevention programming, including activities and exercises to improve flexibility, mobility, agility, speed, strength, power, and balance. Our girls are encouraged to take risks and get outside of their comfort zone in a playing and training environment that is both FUN and challenging! Campers will leave as more skillful soccer players with improved self-esteem and confidence, a renewed passion for the game, and an appreciation for participation in team sports.
