Tinkering
Grades 4-5; July 21 – August 1
Weeks 6 and 7: Waitlist Only
Join us as we invent, explore, and make our way through the summer! Tinkering is designed to develop real-world skills through fun, hands-on projects. Using age-appropriate materials, tools, and building techniques, your young engineers learn more about how things work, how they are made, and where good ideas come from. Our camp will help kids develop a growth mindset, creating a structure for creativity as they build fun projects such as taking apart electronics, building sculptures with parts and motors, building doodlebots and catapults.
This camp is directed by Gladys Alfaro Moisa, Potomac’s Lower School Math Coordinator.
This camp does not include participation in our aquatics program. However, campers entering grades K–6 are welcome to register for after-camp swim lessons.
