Does your camper love to design, build and program? Then this is the camp for you! This half day camp will take students through the basics of the engineering design process, programming, and real-world problem solving through the use of VEX IQ materials. Engaging in the engineering design process, allows campers to study a problem, formulate multiple solutions, create, and improve on their designs. Each camper will leave with an engineering design notebook and images and videos of their creations. Teamwork and collaboration will be encouraged as students work throughout the week. Campers who intend to join VEX IQ teams for the following school year will have an opportunity to begin working towards the 2022-2023 challenge. After a morning in the robotics lab campers will enjoy lunch, outdoor activities and even some time in our pool. The week will culminate as campers put their skills and robots to the test with an internal robotics tournament!
